Google Body Browser
Google Body Browser, which requires the latest version of Google Chrome to use, is a new offering in Google Labs. Google Body Browser allows you to view a 360 degree view of the human body. Layers are available to view muscles, bones, etc. You can also turn on labels to view the name of each part of the human body you click on.
Type It
Type It is a website that allows you to type accent marks, diacritics, and characters online and then copy and paste them into your documents. There is no need for a special character keyboard. There are many character sets to choose from including: Currencies, French, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Spanish and Italian.
Sort Google Search Results By Reading Level
Google now allows you to sort your search results according to a “readability index” which ranks results as “basic”, “intermediate” or “advanced” in terms of reading level. In order to sort by readability you have to click on “Advanced search” which is next to the Google search box and then select “Reading level”. This is a helpful tool for showing students that they can find reading materials that are properly suited for their reading level.

GO2WEB20 is a online web 2.0 index. It contains logos, links and basic information for many web 2.0 applications. It is nicely organized so that is it easily searchable by keyword or tag.
Google eBooks
Google launched Google eBooks yesterday. Google eBooks is different than Google books; it is designed to provide access to ebooks on different platforms (Android, iPad, etc). Most of the ebooks require purchase but there are free classic titles available as well.
